I ordered an “ATAboy” a couple of weeks ago which arrived the other day. I tried it out with a “Quantum GLS127A” 127MB 2.5-inch drive, as well as “Quantum Fireball CR4.3A” 4.3GB 3.5-inch drive and it worked perfectly with both. Pretty neat little unit, I’m guessing with firmware updates it will only get more capable, and so it’ll be useful in future if I have any more really old PATA drives I need to recover data from.
