The Yardian Pro smart irrigation controller arrived, next challenge was to get it installed. The unit itself works well, but it appears the existing wiring to the valves is flakey, so I will have to replace it… Some of the wiring has had a hard life being exposed to the elements without even a protective conduit, so no surprise really.

I’ve at least confirmed the solenoids from the valves work by directly connecting them to the Yardian Pro, so making progress!
